Green Hydrogen Portfolio
The European Innovation Council (EIC) is the premier innovation program in Europe, designed to identify, nurture, and scale revolutionary technologies and transformative innovations.
Operating within the diverse supportive frameworks of the EIC and falling under the broader Horizon Europe program, the Macghyver project has secured funding through the EIC Pathfinder Challenge titled “Novel Routes to Green Hydrogen Production” (HORIZON-EIC-2021-PATHFINDERCHALLENGES-01-04).
This initiative has brought together a total of 9 projects, including Macghyver, each strategically chosen to collaboratively address the intricate challenge of innovating novel pathways to green hydrogen production.
Green H2 and circular bio-coal from biowaste for cost-competitive sustainable steel (Grant Agreement number: 101070741).
Photosynthetic electron focusing technology for direct efficient biohydrogen production from solar energy (Grant agreement number: 101070948).
Electrolysis of Biomass (Grant agreement number: 101070856).
Dual circuit flow battery for hydrogen and value-added chemical production (Grant agreement number: 101070788).
Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolysis from Low-grade water sources (Grant agreement number: 101071111).
Electrocatalytic Production of liquid Organic hydrogen carrier and Chemicals from lignin (Grant agreement number: 101070976).
Green H2 production from water and bioalcohols by full solar spectrum in a flow reactor (Grant agreement number: 101070721).
Optimised Halide Perovskite nanocrystalline based Electrolyser for clean, robust, efficient and decentralised production of H2 (Grant agreement number: 101071010).
European Innovation Council
This project has received funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC) under grant agreement No 101069981. The EIC receives support from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
